| Does anyone know if there is a function in woodwop or cutrite that would allow me to take a flat panel 8"x8"x1 1/2", and create a concave pocket on one side? This part would fit over a radius to create a flat surface to mount a fixture to,( think log cabin). I've been searching thru every routing tool I can think of with no luck. Bp150-woodwop 5.0, also ACAD, but I don't think that matters. Thanks |

| Maybe I am making my question to abstract, is it possible to make an arc which swings in z, across x, and repeats in y to create a concave face? |

Have you tried flipping an arc on the x-y axis around the x-axis. Keep an eye on the cut-detph. Don't route your pods..! The radius of the arc will be you max-depth. r= ( (h/2) + (w^2/8h)). W = arc lenght, H=arc height from arc base.
